Aria Amazon – Peru
Overview
The Aria Amazon was one of the first ships to offer luxury cruising on the Peruvian Amazon – and it remains a benchmark for immersive, sustainable exploration. With 16 suites featuring wraparound glass and sleek, modern interiors, the ship feels both intimate and expansive, like a floating rainforest observatory.
Naturalist guides lead daily excursions into flooded forests and wildlife-rich tributaries, with chances to see howler monkeys, piranhas, caimans, and rare birds. Skiff rides at dawn and dusk reveal a landscape that pulses with colour and movement, changing with the light and water level.
Onboard, Peruvian chef Pedro Miguel Schiaffino creates dishes that highlight jungle ingredients and traditional Amazonian techniques. There’s also a small spa, an open-air lounge, and an observation deck ideal for stargazing. Aria Amazon offers a sense of place that’s hard to replicate – a journey where rainforest, river, and thoughtful design flow as one.
