Ol Seki Hemingways, Kenya
Overview
Perched atop a rocky ridge in the Naboisho Conservancy, this boutique camp offers panoramic 270° views across rolling Mara plains and seasonal river valleys. With just ten tented suites – including two inter-leading family units – Ol Seki provides exclusivity in a private conservancy where guest numbers are kept low.
Designed in 2005 and part of the Hemingways portfolio since 2011, the camp’s architecture mirrors the surrounding landscape, with wood‑floored lounge/dining tents, leather armchairs, vintage trunks, and a vintage telescope for horizon spotting. It’s named after the Ol Seki tree, known locally for symbolising peace and harmony.
Activities range from guided morning and afternoon drives to night safaris, walking tours, Maasai community visits, and optional balloon safaris. Game-viewing happens without park traffic in this conservancy, and staff tailor each day to individual interests, from private meals to focused predator tracking.
