Dating back to 1568, it has entertained generations of aristocrats, writers and celebrities and remains a landmark of high society living.
All 152 rooms and suites are uniquely appointed with antique furnishings, oil paintings, silk draperies, marble bathrooms, and classic décor. Set in two historic mansions – the Cardinal Building and Queen’s Pavilion – each space carries a distinct personality.
The hotel’s signature floating pool – reached via wooden pontoons – hovers above the lake in Venetian yellow style. Sporting facilities include a private beach, tennis courts, and landscaped gardens.
