Day 1-2
Exploring Old and New Delhi
Upon arrival you are met by our guest ambassador in the arrival area of the airport after you clear all immigration and customs formalities. Delhi stands as the capital of Modern India. Here you can see the mingling of the Old and New India, the ancient and the modern. Delhi is made up of seven ancient cities, spanning the period from the 11th to 20th centuries. Delhi has seen the rise and fall of many emperors, which has left behind a plethora of monuments that commemorate the grandeur and glory of bygone ages. Very few cities in the world can express such a profusion of architectural styles. Rest of the day at leisure – relax, have a spa treatment and enjoy the facilities of your hotel. In the evening, take advantage of one of the restaurants at your hotel for dinner. Overnight at the hotel.
In the morning, enjoy a very light breakfast. You will then enjoy an Old Delhi Culinary walk with a Chef. A food walk curated and led by a renowned Chef through crowded markets of Old Delhi, a unique chance to understand and savour street food available in Delhi from some of the oldest food places in the city. Later, proceed for a sightseeing tour of New Delhi. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 3
Journey to Agra
Today, post breakfast, take a scenic drive to Agra, home to one of the world’s most iconic monuments – the Taj Mahal. Upon arrival, transfer to the hotel. In the afternoon, visit Agra Fort, where you are taken through the chambers of this royal residence. Then, in the evening, enjoy a Heritage walk with High Tea at a secret spot across the River with views of the Taj Mahal and Agra Fort. Overnight at the hotel.
Embark on an early morning visit to the Taj Mahal, and marvel at its magnificent marble exterior as it reflects rose and golden tints at sunrise. Return for breakfast. Afterwards, you have the opportunity to explore Agra or spend the day at your leisure.
Day 4-6
Into the Wild
Depart after an early breakfast for your drive to Ranthambore National Park. En route, visit Fatehpur Sikri, a deserted capital built by Emperor Akbar in the 16th century. Explore its magnificent palaces and intricate architecture before continuing your journey. After checking in, spend the remainder of the day at your leisure with an overnight stay at the hotel.
The next day, enjoy two game drives inside the park in an open-top jeep accompanied by an expert guide – one in the early morning and a second in the afternoon. Each safari lasts about 3 hours and there is plenty of wildlife and bird life to see as you search for the elusive Bengal tiger. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 7-8
Enchanting Jaipur
After an early morning game drive and breakfast, embark on your drive to Jaipur, fondly known as the Pink City. Upon arrival at your hotel, spend the remainder of your afternoon in leisure and enjoying the facilities of your hotel. Overnight at the hotel.
The next day, embark on a full-day sightseeing tour of Jaipur, starting with a visit to the magnificent Amber Fort. Perched atop a hill, this fort offers panoramic views of the surrounding landscape and showcases the architectural brilliance of Rajputana craftsmanship. Next, make a photo stop at Hawa Mahal, also known as the Palace of Winds. Admire its intricate facade adorned with pink windows and delicate filigree screens.
Day 9-10
Delhi
After breakfast, bid farewell to Jaipur as you embark on your journey back to Delhi. Upon arrival at your hotel in Delhi, spend the remainder of your day at your own pace and reflect upon your unforgettable experiences during this remarkable journey. Overnight at your hotel.
The next day, enjoy breakfast and then transfer back to the airport for your flight back to the UK.
